Why am I learning this?
We assume that you already know just how important eSafety really is to everyone. There is a lot of support available and we want to make sure you know where to go to. We also want to make sure that you are clear on what is right, and wrong, what is appropriate and not and most importantly what to do if you experience improper use of technology.
When will I use this skill?
This is one of those lessons we hope you never will need to use. Like being taught what to do in an emergency or the safety briefing before your flight. eSafety is about you being equipped with the knowledge of what to do in the event of x, y or z.
This term, we put you in control of your learning. At this point, you have chosen your options, ticked the boxes and you are practically a GCSE student.
So we have created several individual pathways that you get to choose from each lesson. You pick what you learn, and what you do. The only thing that remains the same? Your lesson time and room. Other than that you each will have the chance to focus on an area of Computer Science or IT that is meaningful to you.
